For 1h30min to 2 hours, you will immerse yourself in a fascinating technique where we will challenge the limits of conventional wax. The goal? To recreate with astonishing fidelity the translucent aesthetic, ice cubes, and creamy textures of your favorite cold beverages: from an intense Iced Coffee to a vibrant Iced Matcha Latte.
Guided step-by-step by Cristina and Guillermo, master artisans and founders of Vento Barcelona, you will learn the technical secrets that differentiate true makers. Forget generic craft workshops; here you will experiment with densities, temperatures, and compositions to take home a designer piece that will trick the eye and captivate the nose.
The secret is in the technique: Working with gel wax requires precision. We will teach you how to control the temperature to decide whether you want a crystalline and clean finish or an effect with microbubbles that simulates the effervescence and freshness of real ice.
What does this workshop include?
- ☕ Your own hyperrealistic candle in a glass container You will mold your own wax "ice cubes," design the translucent liquid effect with the gel, and crown your creation (if you choose the latte format) with a foamy layer of soy wax that perfectly mimics the texture of milk.
- 🧪 Professional and sustainable materials You will work with high-density gel wax and premium vegetable waxes (soy and rice) from our own line of supplies. You will use high-quality cotton wicks and premium fragrances with aromatic notes of freshly roasted coffee, pure vanilla, matcha green tea, and toasted nuances.
- 🎨 Technique and creativity in action You will learn hands-on:
